This work consists of four metallic photo prints shot with a macro lense. The prints reveal the self-awareness of the living organism slime mold Physarum polycephalum.

Physarum is capable of solving mazes and jumping border walls.
I find a profound meaning in the idea of microscopic organisms jumping border walls to assure survival .

The contemplation of Physarum‘s self-awareness during this project, built compassion between this species and my own.
In current times of global uncertainty for all ethnical minorities, this project aims to bring a hopeful vision of migratory resilience.

I strongly believe that revelations for our human coexistence in this twenty-first century might come in the language-code of non human forms of life.
